If no one goes to your site, it hardly bares a chance of generating an income. Many sites have tried and failed in doing so, and these results to the sites demise. It takes money to maintain an income generating site; it also takes money to make money.

No Visitors = No Money

BUT, it doesn’t take a whole caboodle of cash to generate website traffic for your site.

Ever wonder how does big hit sites drive traffic top their site? Most of them are spending tons of money to drive the traffic to their sites, investing in many advertising campaigns and different forms of marketing schemes and gimmickries. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to do this if you don’t really have their resources. There are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Many people have banked on high cost methods and have ended up losing their shirt over it.

Here I present to you the Top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that could help your site a whole lot. Even if you only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to client ratio it still works especially if you get a high number of website traffic.

Exchange Links

This is a sure and proven method. Rarely would you see a site where there is no link to another site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common subject so that there is continuity in the providing of service and information to what interests your target traffic.

Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. It is common knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inbound and outbound theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic in your website without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange

This is like exchanging links but on a different higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits. You can use those credits when viewing others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours.

Traffic exchange services are the viewing of another’s site or page. This is done vice versa where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many e-zines and online encyclopedias in the internet which provides free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.

Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.

Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more.

Make a Newsletter.

This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter but on the contrary, this is not so. There are many writers and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name in on your newsletter. This will also provide free advertising for them as well.

As your newsletter gets pass around, you can widen your public awareness and build an opt-in list that can regularly visit your site.

Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche with your site.

Here are some Forums I use to get a little bit of traffic:

* DigitalPoint Forum
* V7N Forum
* SitePoint Forum
* SEO Chat Forum
* WebmasterWorld
* Webmaster-TalkStunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-6528677823953371222008-07-16T03:43:00.000-07:002008-07-16T03:44:52.482-07:00Make Money Online by Displaying Text Ads on Your Web PagesI like to introduce you a new text link broker that you can use to sell text links on your site and blog. Of course we do. Something inside of us wants to see that individual succeed against whatever odds they face? Why? Because in every underdog we see a bit of ourselves.

If they can succeed then maybe we can, too. If they can take on the world and win maybe there is personal hope after all.

Of course no one wants to admit that, but I think it’s true.

For most the definition of success is finding a sense of financial freedom. That doesn’t have to be thought of in terms of being ‘filthy rich’. Many would simply be happy to have fewer debts and a greater potential to enjoy the time and wealth they have acquired with individuals that mean something to them.

These are the people I want to talk to. These are the individuals that may be prime candidates for a change in direction.

The struggle many face when it comes to achieving success financially is knowing when you have reached enough finances. I know there are some that argue you can never have enough, which is why it makes sense to try to understand up front what your concept of financial success will be.

For instance a person with a desire to own a 25 room mansion, boats and expensive cars will have a different definition of success than another who is more interested in making sure the house is paid off and the kids can go to college.

Find your comfort zone and adjust your goals accordingly. Find a balance for business and personal goals.

You also need to know what you will be trading away for success. For instance if your idea of success requires eighteen hour work days to achieve then there will likely be failures in terms of relationships and long-term health.

You either need to work smarter or adjust what you will accept in terms of success.

I don’t know that this side of moneymaking is mentioned a lot, but it is important especially if you have family involved. There will always be a learning curve in the development of any moneymaking idea and it will take time to manage once it is developed. Do you honestly have the time to commit to the upkeep of the idea?

We all need to make money to live and improve the lives of our families. We all need a little extra to find ways to enjoy life. We all have debts we would like to retire.

This is why a site like this is needed. Money is not evil and it’s not the enemy. It is simply a tool that allows us to accomplish goals and realize dreams. It can be used to help others and it can be used to provide a better future for our families.

Ingenuity in moneymaking is seen most prominently online in the 21st century. This is the perfect environment to explore ideas and craft a plan for success. You won’t get anywhere without a plan and you will never find ultimate success until you learn to define it before you chase it.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-62710901259578744192008-07-16T03:40:00.000-07:002008-07-16T03:42:03.781-07:00Free Turnkey Website to Get Your Started in Affiliat MarketingAre you interested to make money online with affiliate marketing? What this means is that Google Adsense now accepts display ads served from qualified third-party vendors. So that advertisers who uses OpenX or Pubmatic can now advertise in the Adsense publishers pool. This is great news for us bloggers since we may attract top brand AdWords advertisers who use third parties to create and manage their online campaigns to maybe advertise with us.

Initially, Google is saying that it will be accepting third-party ads in English only, but hopes to expand it to other languages soon. To allow third-party ads on your site, you should optimize your site to allow third-party ads.

Here's 3 Steps to Optimize your Site to allow Third-Party Ads:

1. Opt into image ads - Currently, third-party ads are only available in image or Flash, so they won't appear in text-only ad units.

2. Enable advertisers to target your AdSense channels - Most advertisers who use third-party ads are brand-conscious. They prefer to specify websites where their ads will appear in order to optimize the targeting and effectiveness of their campaigns.

3. Opt into placement targeting - Placement targeting will allow advertisers to target their ads specifically to your site.

Google Adsense guarantees that following these steps will enable your site to accept third-party ads. However, it can't guarantee where or when third-party ads will appear on your site. Since, it is still in it's infancy stage, expect it to slowly but surely be a robust and successful advertising scheme that Google Adsense is known for.

post ur comments will u try thrid party ads with google adsense?Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-15719325183654732532008-05-24T03:31:00.000-07:002008-11-12T19:36:05.679-08:00Image ads without Ads by GoogleWhile most of AdSense publishers choose to display text ads inside content hence the ads will blend well with contents. I try to display an image ads stands out outside content.

Text ads inside content I presume will drive higher Click Thru Rate than image ads that stands out of the content. But, don’t forget that some of the image ads do not display Ads by Google per default. I think this kind of image ads will compete with a common text ads in click thru rate.

Check sample ads below:
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisYyO-niVaDBx9k9Cbms95q4PRe9LzBJ9NUb8F1xt8awIFj4q3RDcRq-AU-TUdGZobrv9RXv-JB4Ft7nl1ApSQQFDT-DEAyGs6WpzDXbcMakH4ifJHOIani7fEliy-RNVHw7ocFzg9dAFy/s400/adsense-pulled-out.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203891049414167554" />
[adsense ads without description]

The first ads, only displays an url with very small com extension, no Ads by Google label, the second ads there is even no URL address written, so as the third ads.

My Thought
There’s no hurt to leave our comfort zone for a while to try a different placement, a different kind of ads, or even a different ads network, just to fulfill the curiosity. :)Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-33455490996073952022008-05-22T12:05:00.000-07:002008-05-22T12:06:10.627-07:00What Is Google Smart Pricing?Google Smart Pricing system is designed to help AdWords advertisers to improve their return on investment (ROI). Google smart pricing system is basically a system that will adjust contextual click costs for Adwords advertisers automatically based on a set of values. Google does not disclose much about the values it uses for its smart pricing system. The mechanism of smart pricing system remains largely undisclosed.

However, Google has revealed the factors that it uses to price an ad. These factors are as follows:

* The advertiser's bid
* The quality of the ad
* The other ads competing for the space
* The start or end of an ad campaign
* Other advertiser fluctuations

Google will also take into account the following factors when it determines the price of an ad:

* The keywords or concepts that trigger the ad
* The type of site on which the ad was served and clicked
* Conversion rate of advertiser AdWords advertising campaign

Google recognizes that clicks from its content network have different values. It constantly analyzes the origin of a click. The more relevant of the site which the ad was served and clicked to the AdSense ad, the more value it is for a click.

Google provide a tool that can track a conversion of a contextual click. Every time an AdSense ad is clicked, Google will place a conversion tracking cookie on a user's computer. The conversion tracking cookie will be stored in the user’s computer for 30 days. It is used to track a conversion for Advertisers.

Google Smart pricing system will use the information it gathers to make price adjustment for an ad. When the click generated from its contextual network is less likely to turn into business for advertisers, the smart pricing system will reduce the price advertiser pays for that click.

So How Does Google Smart Pricing Affect AdSense PublisherStunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-79988063036708935942008-05-22T12:02:00.000-07:002008-05-22T12:03:14.278-07:00AdSense Money Formula RevealedA lot of people would like to know the success AdSense money formula. The simple formula below is one fundamental formula that you should know.

Money = sum ( [Price Per Click] X [Number of Click] )

Logically speaking, if you want to make more money, you have to either increase the number of clicks or the price per click. If you do one or the other you can make more money from the program.
Make More AdSense Money By Boosting the Number Of Click

Increase the number of clicks on your ads is the most obvious strategy that will make more money for you. There are two ways you can boost the number of click:

1. Getting more traffic for your web site,
2. Make your ads more clickable and position them at the right place.

Getting traffic takes time and efforts. It‘s also a lot of hard work. There are several techniques that you can use to generate more traffic to your web site and hence make more AdSense money. These techniques are:

* Submit your web site to search engine and optimize your web site for search engine.
* Increase link popularity by link exchange, article marketing, directory submission and press release.
* Paid Advertising through classified advertising, banner advertising or search engine advertising.
* Participate in forums/groups related to the content of your web site.
* Add comments to other blogs.

Making your ads more clickable is another way to increase your earnings. It is relatively easy to do because you can adjust your ad format almost immediately. You can do the following adjustments to your ad format to improve your click through rate (CTR):

* Make them more noticeable by positioning your AdSense ads on top of your AdSense page.
* Google states that the most effective ad formats are 336×280 larger rectangle, the 300×250 inline rectangle, and the 160×600 wide skyscraper. However you should choose the best ad format that works for your web site. This requires tracking and testing.
* Create a custom palette that best suites your web site. In general, you can follow the following settings:
o Border color : no border or background color of your website
o Background color : background color of your website
o Link color : color of your links
o URL color : black
o Text color : black or color of your main content

Make More AdSense Money by Targeting the Higher-Paying Keywords

You can create unique, relevant and quality contents that target at the higher-paying keywords to increase your average price per click (CPC). Higher CPC means that you can make more money even the CTR remains unchanged. You should find out which keyword variations for a topic pay more. Often the more specialized variations and phrases pay more than the generic terms.

You can increase your CPC by reducing the occurrence of lower-paying ads. You can use AdSense competitive filter mechanism to filter out the ads that you don’t want to be shown on your web site. It is suggested by others that showing fewer ads on a page will result in higher-paying ads displayed on your web site. A lot of publishers report that they make more Adsense money if they remove ads completely from pages with few or no clicks. Again you have to test whether this strategy works in favor of you or not.

As you can see, it involves a lot of hard work if you want to make extra Google AdSense money. You need to put in your time and effort to make it happen.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-15764881681345102462008-05-22T11:59:00.000-07:002008-05-22T12:00:25.775-07:00Click Fraud War - AdSense Publishers Armed Yourself with the Right ToolsMajor PPC companies such as Google and Yahoo decline to quantify the scope of click fraud. However, some estimate click fraud range from a few percent to more than twenty percent. Click fraud occurs when a person, automated script, or computer program imitates a legitimate user of a web browser clicking on an ad. These clicks are done for the purpose of either to drain competitor’s marketing budget or generate advertising income.
Who Commits Click Fraud?

* Business Competitors: Competitors of a business try to drain opponent’s pay per click (PPC) marketing budget by clicking on their PPC ads deliberately. They may click themselves, have friends or employees click or use software to click the ads. Advertiser’s PPC ad will automatically stop showing on the ads listing if the daily budget of PPC campaign is set. Competitors can then bid at a lower price for the same position.

* Web Publishers: Many web publishers are making money by showing ads syndicated by PPC companies such as Google, Overture, Yahoo and etc. They earn money from clicks on these ads. Some publishers fraudulently generate clicks on their own ads in order to make money or make more money quickly.

* Networks of Clickers: There are few networks of clickers organized by fraudsters to click PPC ads. In these networks, each member is asked to click on other member’s PPC ad in return for other members to click on his ad.

* Bad People: Plain old mean people know that they can easily drive advertiser’s marketing budget to the roof or kick publishers out of the PPC advertising business by clicking on their PPC ads deliberately and frequently.

PPC companies such as Google and Yahoo do not tolerate click fraud and they have sophisticated anti click fraud systems in place to fight click fraud. These systems will monitor incoming clicks and then discard fake clicks. However, these systems relied on unrevealed artificial intelligent click fraud patterns are far from perfect and sometimes not effective. Besides, the current systems provide no protection for the publishers. These systems do not alert the publishers for click fraud activities happened on their websites. Publishers could easily be banned from the PPC advertising program for click fraud activities which they did not commit.
How Do Publishers Monitor and Stop Click Fraud?

To prevent click fraud and protect your AdSense business, you should install a more sophisticated AdSense tracking tool, such as Adlogger, on your AdSense website. You should constantly monitor your AdSense site using AdSense tracking tool in conjunction with Google AdSense channel.

These advanced tracking tools will give you extra tracking information and features which are not provided by AdSense Channel. These information and features include:

* Which Ad has been clicked
* The details of PPC Ads
* The time and origins of each click.
* The browsing history of each IP on your site
* Alert you and stop multiple clicks from the same IP
* Block certain IP from click on your AdSense Ads

With a more complex tracking tool installed on your website, it would be easier for you to spot any unusual click activities on your websites. Once you have discovered unusual activities on your AdSense site, you can alert PPC companies about these activities immediately and let them investigate the problem. This will provide your AdSense business minimum protection against click fraud.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-51417339484000219032008-04-15T14:51:00.000-07:002008-04-15T14:53:42.357-07:00Less AdSense ads = More Money! If you’re familiar with AdSense you’ll know that you can have 3 ad units and 1 link unit per page. Many webmasters make the mistake of using the full allocation thinking the more ads there are the more likely a visitor is going to click them and therefore the more money they will make.

This doesn’t work in my experience (and the experience of other webmasters I have spoken too) and here is the reason why.

What ever your web page subject is about there will be AdSense ads of varying value. Google will always display the most valuable ads because they want like you to make the most money. Now if you have all three ad units in play on the page not only will you have the most valuable ads but also you will have the ads from companies who paid considerably less. Obviously if people click on one of these lesser paying ads you may only be getting only a few cents.

Therefore my advice to you is to have a maximum of one ad unit and one link unit per page. That way when you get clicks from your visitors they are more likely to be of a higher value.

Having fewer ads on your pages also has the benefit of making your page look more professional. There’s nothing worse than coming to a page which is swamped with AdSense ads. It’ll have the majority of your visitors hitting the back button long before they read the ads let alone click on them.

If you don’t believe me choose a page with reasonable traffic and test it for a couple of weeks. If you’re not earning as much as before you can always change it back. I’m willing to bet though after you see the improved 'Click Through Rate' (CTR), page 'Effective CPM' (eCPM), and ultimately earnings for the page you’ll be changing the rest of your site to the same format. These tools will be shown to you at the bottom of this article.

Firstly, you need a software that can build hundreds of your adsense sites fast using reprinted articles. The software should be able to fetch reprinted articles from article sites, format these articles and create pages using your own templates. It is important you use your own template because you don't want to look like everyother person using the same articles.

However, if you don't want to use other peoples articles on your site, you can write them yourself (herculean tasks indeed if you have to build hundreds of sites), or you can hire ghost writers at www.elance.com to write these articles at very reasonable rates. There is one ebook that teaches how to hire ghost writers easily and at cheap rates. This is a better option than using articles from article sites. These articles are not keyword rich, their keyword densities are very poor and they are not well optimized for good seach engine ranking. Check at the bottom of this article for where to get the software and ebook.

The domain names for your sites should be your main keyword for that site. You are going to optimize each page using one keyword. You want the adsense ads to recognize your page for that one keyword so tha it delivers ads based on that one keyword. Use hyphen for your domain names. Register your domain names for at least 2 years so that you do not raise a red flag at Google.

Host your sites on different hosts servers. This will aid you in your link structure. You are going to link your various sites in such a way that some sites receive many links than others. The ones with hundreds of incoming links are the money makers. There are very cheap web host. Do a search for "$1.99 hosting" and you will get them. You can check for how long they have been in the hosting business by gong to http://www.archive.org

There is the Google sandbox phenemenon. There is nothing you can do about that. Wait it out. Use the waiting time to write articles for your different sites, submitting your sites to directories, (here is a comprehensive list of article submission sites at, www.ebizstartups.com/article-submission-sites.html), doing reciprocal linking, buying links(if you can) doing seo for your sites etc.

How do you identify profitable keywords? you can subscribe to some membership sites that research and offer these high demand ( profitable ) keywords to their members. Or if you want to do the research yourself, go to www.pixelfast.com/overture - ( a site that helps you see what folks are paying for ads on Overture ).

Armed with your high demand keywords, you then build not too many web sites with these keywords. These sites will be your money makers. But remember that it is difficult ranking high for these keywords at the free search engines. so you will build hundreds of sites with low demand keywords that are related to your high demand keywords and send traffic to your high demand keyword sites from your low demand keyword sites.

When you write articles, let the link in your resource box point to your low demand keywords sites. So that you can build link popularity fast and then link to your high demand keywords sites from your low demand keywords sites. This way you have hundreds of links pointing to your few high demand keywords sites. So you archieve two things by doing so. One , you send
traffic to your high demand keywords site and two, you build the link popularity of your high demand keyword sites. This will enable these high demand keywords sites compete favorably with other sites at the free search engines.

To cap it all.

What you are doing is basically building sites that will funel traffic as well as one way links to your high demand keyword sites using some very good resources for building your sites fast and obtaining the latest profitable keywords fast. Note that there are others ways to do this. But this is the safest way without getting your websites banned from the search enginesStunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-38619542549369157692008-03-24T04:10:00.000-07:002008-03-24T04:11:29.098-07:00What can I do to ensure that my account won't be disabled?Above all, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the AdSense program policies and ensure that all sites on which you display Google ads remain in full compliance with these policies.

Additionally, following these simple rules will help keep your account in good standing:

* Don't click on your own Google ads.
Clicking on Google ads on your own site for any reason is strictly prohibited. If you'd like more information about one of the advertisers appearing on your site, please type the URL of the ad directly into your browser's address bar, or use the AdSense preview tool.

* Don't ask others to click on Google ads.
Users should click on Google ads because they're interested in the services being advertised. Encouraging users to click on your Google ads, either directly or indirectly, can lead to inflated advertiser costs and can cause your account to be disabled.

* Don't employ pop-up prompts or automatic software installations. Google is dedicated to improving the user experience on the Internet, and promoting responsible software principles is part of that effort. Sites showing Google ads may not prompt users to install software on their machines. Publishers must also not attempt to change users' browser home pages automatically or via pop-up prompts.

* Be aware of how your site is promoted.
Pages showing Google ads may never be loaded in an unrequested pop-up. This means publishers need to be very careful when purchasing traffic or setting up ad campaigns with third parties. Before contracting with any ad network, you should ensure that they will never display your site in pop-ups or as a result of the actions of any software application.

* Don't place Google ads on sites that contain prohibited content.
Google ads may not be displayed alongside any type of content prohibited by our program policies, including adult or mature content, gambling-related content, or drug content. It's your responsibility to ensure that all of your pages adhere to these policies.

* Respect Google trademarks.
Framing or mimicking Google pages is strictly prohibited by our Guidelines for Use of Google Brand Features. In addition, publishers may not use any Google Brand Features such as Google trademarks, logos, web pages or screen shots, without prior consent from Google.

* Don't tamper with the AdSense code.
AdSense offers a wide variety of approved formats, colors, and features in your AdSense account. Once you've generated your code, however, we ask that you do not alter any portion of the code or change the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason, unless specifically authorized to do so by Google.

* Provide a positive user experience.
Sites that contain excessive pop-ups, use sneaky redirects to obtain traffic, or otherwise attempt to interfere with normal web navigation aren't permitted in the AdSense network. Please make sure your site doesn't deceive your users in any way. In general, it's a good idea to follow our Webmaster Guidelines on quality to ensure that your site provides a positive user experience.

* Provide a good environment for advertisers.
Sites showing Google ads should not present a poor opportunity for advertisers. Sites that use tricks or deceptive practices in order to trigger inadvertent clicks on ads are prohibited.

* Be responsive.
Publishers are asked to be responsive to emails sent by the AdSense team. Be sure to keep your email address up-to-date, in case we ever need to contact you about your account. To update your email address, follow the instructions here.

We are constantly reviewing publishers for compliance with AdSense program policies and rules noted above. If you believe a site showing ads is in violation of these policies, please let us know. Following the advice of the 'experts' does not always yield success. In my experience though, there is one area of Internet business that can pretty reliably deliver results. And that is 'Traffic, Adsense, Money'. In other words, if you send traffic to a site with AdSense on it, you will get paid! The good bit is that you will get paid by Google, which means that the income source is reliable. There is no waiting for payments, and no panicking if the provider will go bust before they send you your money.

So everything is rosy ..... or is it?

Can it really be as simple as that?

Well, in essence, it is that simple. Google have some simple rules which you must follow, but otherwise, you can pretty much count on receiving regular payments from Google if you adhere to the three card trick. Sending traffic to a site is not always straight forward, but there are many ways in which this can be achieved, although this is something outside the scope of this article.

What we want to discuss here, assumes that some traffic is coming to your site, and you have AdSense already established. We want to look at the 'money' element of the equation.

Whilst getting traffic to your site is a major part of the Internet Marketing exercise, it is not enough by itself. Undoubtedly, when you receive traffic to a web site with AdSense on it, you will get some people clicking on Ads, and you will receive some income. However, for every dollar you make on each web site, you could be losing another four or five. Let's read that again,

For Every Dollar You Make, You Could Be Losing Four Or Five!

Ouch! But it's true. I know because I have proved it.

When I started creating web sites a few years ago, I discovered AdSense, created an account, threw some code onto my sites and left it. Not surprisingly, nothing happened, and I forgot about it, and went onto other things (sound familiar so far?).

Imagine my surprise when about two years later, I received a cheque from Google for just over $100. I couldn't believe it. So, the first thing I did was to look at my AdSense account and see why they paid me. I also checked my web logs and lo noticed that traffic has appeared over a period of time, and yes, people had clicked on my AdSense ads. However, I was hungry for more information. After all, if I could do this without paying attention, imagine what would happen if I tried to replicate it. I started doing the math, and multiplying my results by the number of web sites I was going to put up. I could see dollar signs in front of my eyes, and was on my way to the travel agent, when it hit me.

I didn't know HOW to replicate this success. I didn't have enough information.

One thing was for sure. Web sites take time to attract traffic as a rule, and by doing nothing to promote my sites, I got some results, but it took a couple of years. So, we come to a rule

* There may be ways to speed things up, but you have to be patient.

And while we are at it, we can create another rule

* Track your results

Now, Google does offer some tools to track your web sites, but to my mind they are limited and cumbersome . They certainly didn't give me many clues as to how and why I received my cheque from Google I wasn't able to tell anything other than which sites has produced the income. Nice to know, but not enough to enable me to replicate my success. So, I had to find another way to track AdSense results. I eventually tracked down an awesome script that did everything bar get up and make a cup of coffee.

This script has everything that you need to monitor your AdSense campaigns. It not only tells you which sites are generating income, but it also tells you which pages on the sites, which Ads on the sites, which colors of which ads on the sites, which keywords were used to find you, which site referred your customer to you .... need I go on? It is a magnificent tool, and one which is indispensable if you want to succeed with AdSense

I just wish I had it four years ago .......

Anyway, back to the story ......

Once I installed the script, I started to see trends in my web sites, and as I built more sites, my AdSense income grew, and I now get regular payments from Google Please note that I am NOT one of those who makes tens of thousands a month with AdSense (I wish), and I still haven't discovered the secret to that level of success. I do, however, continue to monitor my results and to read any information that I can relating to AdSense

And so I come to my second point. .....

I recently purchased something else, which has had an immediate effect on my results. Please read that again

I Recently Purchased Something Else, Which Has Had An Immediate Effect On My Results.

I don't know about you, but I buy a lot of material to try and help me build my online business, and I can count on very few fingers on one hand, those that actually worked as described.

This is one of those that does what is says on the tin folks!.

And what did I learn from this tool?

First off, I should point out that the tool is excellent for the beginner, because it takes you through every aspect of setting up an AdSense web site. No stone is left unturned.

And I am testimony to the fact that it goes beyond beginners as well.

I have implemented some of the strategies outlined on some of my sites, and I have seen improvements in all of them. I would say that my clicks have doubled with the same amount of traffic. I do not have many high traffic sites, and this is where this really wins. It helps you get the most out of your existing traffic, and does not rely on you having to generate more traffic.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-64936052142627434912008-03-24T04:07:00.000-07:002008-03-24T04:08:29.717-07:00Adsense, The Great SecretWhat is the great secret to huge earnings with Adsense? The truth is, there is no great secret.

Let us look at adsense from the top.

Adsense pays you a percentage of money for each click that you generate on your website. Which brings us to two very important facts that few seem to realize when building their adsense websites.

* You need traffic to click on your adsense ads.

* Your ads must be relevant to the search of the visitor.

Lets dissect them one at a time.

Traffic.

You can create adsense sites with software, buy pre-built sites, use PLR and so on. This is a nice quick fix to solve your problem of generating adsense income, or so many seem to think.

Most of the time you will have wasted your time and money. It would have been much better spent taking the dog for a walk or doing the dishes.

For an adsense site to be successful it needs visitors, many visitors. If you have just put up a new site it will mean you have not been indexed neither do you have any page ranking. Your 2000 page pre-built website at this moment in time means nothing. Don't forget that a thousand or so others have followed the same route as you, some before and some after, quite a bit of duplicate content don't you think?

Lets move on.

The search engines have come by and your pages are now indexed after two or three months.

Suddenly to your great surprise for the next month you have a total of two clicks, or worse none whatsoever. Four months down the line becomes six and still the results remain the same.

Fortunately you do not need to feel alone, there are many who have done exactly the same thing with the same results. But from your perspective the internet sucks and there are only a few who will make money and the multitudes of others will buy their products.

Sorry to tell you the truth, you are wrong. If you went about building your adsense empire with a plan, and not a quick fix, things would be quite different. But we all still love quick fixes and buy them, so there is no need to feel bad.

Building your adsense site takes careful planning.

You can do it as a new site, subdirectory or implement it on your current site.

The very first thing that you must do, and I cannot stress this enough, is keyword research.

It is a long and arduous task and does take a lot of time and thinking to get to the right keywords. It is the life or death of your site. You can have the best optimized pages around, but if you chose the wrong keywords you will never be seen.

The wrong choices would be keywords that are never searched for or the competition is so high that you will be competing against many high ranking websites, and your pages will just get lost in the maze.

Only when you have your keywords in place is it time to develop your content. You should try to create as many of these pages yourself.
Now you are not able to write one thousand pages all by yourself but if you write one page a week, by the end of the year you will have 52 unique pages, that is what the search engines are looking for. Your pages need not be long 400 to 600 words are fine as long as the content is relevant, but we will get to that now.

If you are just starting your site you can mix up your pages with articles, PLR content and your own, but do create your own unique content as often as you can.

Now lets look at relevance.

If a visitor lands on your page from a search engine result he must find your content relevant to his search, otherwise he will leave as quickly as he came. He will not be clicking one of your adsense ads either to his next destination.

Why not?

Your adsense ads on your page will be reflective of your content, not his search, which means they will have no meaning to him whatsoever. That is why it is so important to have relevant content to your keywords, that is what brings the visitor, keeps him on the site and gets him to click an adsense ad when he leaves.

Placement of ads and the way they appear have been proven to increase or decrease CTR. Unfortunately this information is only obtainable through research over a period of time. You have to use different formats and placements on different pages and track each ad separately to establish which work best.

But the internet is constantly changing, and what is working now will not necessarily be working in six months to a year, so unless you have been doing the research yourself over a period of time and finding the right information at the right time, you will have to pay to get your adsense working effectively and profitably.

This is the great secret to successful adsense pages, it is nothing more than research information as to what is working best at this time. The information is gathered through persistent testing, tracking, more testing and tracking until the right combinations are found and then doing it all over again. The secret is finding and using the information first.

I’m willing to bet though after you see the improved 'Click Through Rate' (CTR), page 'Effective CPM' (eCPM), and ultimately earnings for the page you’ll be changing the rest of your site to the same format.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-36397363694331896342008-03-11T11:39:00.000-07:002008-03-11T11:40:04.862-07:00Affiliate Marketing vs. Google Adsense: Let the Battle Begin...Lately there has been a lot of discussion on how to make tons of money with Google Adsense. In fact, many people are making the claim that Adsense sites can earn a higher revenue then an affiliate-marketing site.

So that brings us to an important question: Which is a better online business - Affiliate-Marketing sites or Google Adsense sites?

Let's explore each one and then find out which online business is better option:

Google Adsense

How do you like the idea of earning m*ney without dealing with customers or answering emails. This is possible when you run a Google Adsense site. With Adsense sites, you can have a virtual passive-income that requires little maintaining. But is this the best option for an online business?

Here are the positives of Google Adsense sites:

- They are perfect for people who run information sites that have no related affiliate product

- You can set it and leave it. With Google Adsense, you can create a content page, and there is little need to update the content.

- Adsense sites are easy to scale. Since they require little upkeep, you can easily create multiple websites that each make a nice income.

Here are the negatives of Google Adsense sites:

- They are not a great long term solution. Instead of getting your visitors to subscribe to a mailing list, you are focusing on getting people to click on ads. Real online businesses concentrate on building assets that can use for long-term growth.

- These sites are dependent on search engines. Most Google Adsense sites make the mistake of depending on search engines for the majority of their traffic. If the SE algorithms change then your income might drop significantly.

Affiliate Marketing

Being an affiliate marketer is great for those who want build a theme site. With this type of business, you can easily create web pages around a topic and get people to buy products through your products. If done correctly, you can easily build a loyal following that will help you make money for years to come.

But can affiliate marketing make you more money then Google Adsense?

Here are the positives of affiliate marketing:

- A great advantage of affiliate-marketing is that you can build a long term business that will bring in a revenue stream for years.

- With affiliate-marketers you need to focus on building an email list. This list is a major asset of your business. Every time you have an offer, you can go to your list and increase your profits..

- Unlike Google Adsense sites, which only concentrates on high paying keywords, an affiliate marketing site can be centered on a topic that you have an interest in.

Here are the negatives of affiliate marketing:

- You have to learn how to write persuasively and get people to purchase the product that you are recommending. For many people this is a difficult skill to learn.

- Each affiliate marketing site requires a lot of effort. You must spend a lot of time writing product reviews, building your email list and creating web content.

So which is better: Affiliate marketing or Google Adsense?

The answer is that both are great solutions for an online business. Instead of choosing one over the other, you should create websites that can take advantage of both.

Here is how you can do this:

1) Create a content site on a topic that you are interest in, while paying a good amount per Adsense click.

2) Integrate your Adsense into the menu bars and the top of your web content.

3) Add web pages for affiliate-products and your opt-in email list. But, make sure that you leave out the Adsense blocks on these pages. This way you are ensuring that you are building your long-term assets.

4) Create optimized web page articles that focus on a specific keyword phrase. Place your Google Adsense in these blocks.

5) Provide your email list with good content and product recommendations. Once in awhile, email your list and provide a link to some of your web articles. That way, you can earn a little bit of m*ney from your subscribers while giving them good content.

By focusing on both affiliate products and Google Adsense, you will be building both short-term and long-term profitsStunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-26651538608624213772008-03-11T11:37:00.000-07:002008-03-11T11:38:48.691-07:00Most Expensive AdWords and AdSense KeywordsWhen I surfing, I found this usefull article about expensive AdWords and AdSense keywords. Mixed With Affiliate MarketingThe more you understand about any subject, the more interesting it becomes. As you read this article you'll find that the subject of Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing is certainly no exception.

Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?

Why Affiliate Marketing?

Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.

Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.

There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.

Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

You can see that there's practical value in learning Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing. Can you think of ways to apply what's been covered so far?

What about Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.

The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.

So, where do all of these lead us to?

Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.

It never hurts to be well-informed with the latest on Google Adsense Profits Mixed In With Affiliate Marketing. Let's talk about the major causes and I'll explain how to remedy each of them.

The most common cause is that your keyword density is too low. You might not have heard of this SEO jargon, but the logic is straightforward: if you have a blog about knife self-defense, for example, you need to actually have the phrase knife self-defense on your site at least once every 2-3 paragraphs.

All too commonly, writers find that they refer to "it" or, in your case, "self defense" or "protection" or other synonyms. A synonym is a good tool for writing, but it can be counterproductive for having search engines or ad engines accurately identify the primary topic of your article.

Another facet of this is if you have lots and lots of non-article material on your pages (promotional text, ad copy, link lists) you can confuse the ad engine about just what actually is the point of the page. This can best be addressed by adding AdSense section targeting, as explained here: AdSense Section Targeting.

A second problem you might be encountering is that there are simply too few bids on your exact keywords in the AdSense system (technically, AdWords, as that's the "advertiser" side of the AdSense coin). You can ascertain this by opening up an AdWords account and bidding on a few of the most important keywords in your space. Does a bid of $0.05 give you top placement? That means that there aren't any other advertisers!

Another way to test is to use a tool like Nichebot. When I go there and search for "knife self-defense" shows that it was only searched for 15 times in the last 12 months (in their database, at least). That's incredibly rare, and strongly suggests that you need to come up with either a broader focus for your blog (by comparison, "self defense" was sought 782,000 times) or come up with a different description of your content to be more findable.

Finally, if you do these and use these techniques and still find that your ads aren't a good match, you might email Google's AdSense support team and ask them for some suggestions. I've found them friendly, helpful and reasonably responsive, and it is in their best interest to be matching your content as closely as possible.

Hope that helps you get up and running with better ads.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-25872177768886299312008-03-11T11:32:00.000-07:002008-03-11T11:33:45.121-07:00Using Other Peoples Info To Increase Your Adsense CashThe following article includes pertinent information that may cause you to reconsider what you thought you understood. The most important thing is to study with an open mind and be willing to revise your understanding if necessary.

If you find yourself confused by what you've read to this point, don't despair. Everything should be crystal clear by the time you finish.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-Adsense is really making a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry nowadays. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die faster than ever and ad networks will be going to lose their customers quickly.
If you are in a losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently into, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing and start earning some real cash.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-Google is readily providing well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourselves as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you from other people’s source.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. And no codes to mess around for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads in which to put your pages on.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

You can filter up to 200 URLs. That gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines. You can also block competitors. Though it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-Owners of small sites are allowed to plug a bit of a code into their sites and instantly have relevant text ads that appeal to your visitors appear instantly into your pages. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. It makes up for having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you are already earning is to try and see. If you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

The payment rates can vary extremely. The payment you will be receiving per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, sometimes even more than that too. You are earning a share of that money generated.

If your results remain stagnant, it can help if you try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitor’s eyes more. It sometimes pay to differ from the usual things that people are doing already. It is also a refreshing sight for your visitor once they see something different for a change.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-Publishers also have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. It is also allowed to have them displayed on a large network of sites. The choice would be depending on what you think will work best for your advantage.

To get an idea if some Adsense ads you see on the search engines has your pages, try to find web pages that have similar material to the content you are planning to create and look up their Adsense ads.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics only. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands of dollars cash.

It is still wise to look at other people’s information and format your Adsense there. Just think about it as doing yourself a favor by not having to work too hard to know what content to have.

Adsense, Adwords, Google Information Marketing:-Topic to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense with these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination paper.

With all the information that people need in your hands already, all you have to do is turn them as your profits. It all boils down to a gain and gain situation both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

Make other people’s matter your own and starting earning some extra cash.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-46035140441754801182008-02-28T02:59:00.000-08:002008-02-28T04:06:17.969-08:00Do you have Privacy Policy Page on your Blog or Site?
‘Privacy Policy’, seen it on number of website at the bottom of homepage. Partners are independent video creators and media companies who are looking for online distribution and who meet YouTube’s qualifications. Becoming a partner gives you the ability to share in ad revenue from your YouTube videos.

Why Is YouTube Doing This?

The answer is, they can’t. YouTube is hiding behind the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) to protect themselves from claims of copyright violations. In order to hide behind the act, YouTube cannot make money off the videos uploaded by its user base. If they do, copyright holders can go after YouTube for the income (plus damages) those videos made instead of just telling YouTube to remove the videos.

Now YouTube is offering this partner program to everyone who qualifies.

What Are The Requirements?

Before you can apply for the YouTube Partner Program, your must meet all the following requirements.

1)You create original videos suitable for online streaming.
2)You own the copyrights and distribution rights for all audio and video content that you upload — no exceptions.
3)You regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of YouTube users.
4)You live in the United States or Canada.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4741966320725647994.post-65891903448821077612008-02-20T10:44:00.000-08:002008-02-20T10:46:45.722-08:00How to increase pagerankHow to improve your PR:

Content is the King: If you provide quality content then you will get regular readers and many of those will copy a summary (or sometimes the complete article) into there blogs plus linking back to you. Good content may sometimes get renowned bloggers linking to you which will drive traffic and will give your site more weight due to there high PR.

Keyword management: See, whatever your PR be if you do not use proper keywords into your blog you wont get listed into Google searches. So use right keywords in the URL, the "title" tag, the article's heading, the text and the links which you make.

Follow the "nofollow" revolution: When you comment on any blog you might see the name of your website under the comment authors name. But know this very well that those links aren't considered by Google for PR calculation. But these days many bloggers are removing the "nofollow" tags from there links in comments. Thus when you comment on there blogs you will earn a link to your blog too. Pretty cool!

Post on forums: There are so many forums available over the Internet that its tough to know which is good and which isn't. A good way could be to check PageRank of these forums. Now post mostly in those forums which have high PageRank. Each link into these forums will be considered by Google bot as a backlink to your site. This way you earn good amount of visitors, a high PR link plus some knowledge too!

Order reviews: Investment is required whenever you want to outshine others in this world of competition. So if you are capable of investing then go order some reviews into high PR blogs which again gives you visitors plus link.

Link Exchange: Blogroll as many of us call it, is a nice way to increase the number of backlinks to you blog. For those who do not like the LONG blogroll list in there blogs could ask the other author to copy some content from your blog and indicate the source. And you do the same too. That way you earn the same weight backlink.

Your own websites network: If you have more than one website than why not link back from each website to you other websites. That also brings you good backlinks and that too without spending a dime!

Submit links to online directories: Online directories mostly have good PR. Start submitting your link to these directories to get high quality backlinks.

Start online contests: Various contests in different blogs is a new way to earn traffic and to get large number of backlinks. Giving you an example, ask your readers to review your blog in there blogs and ask them to link back to your blog in return. Inform them that the best review will earn some cash prize or something unique from your collection if you do not want to spend money.Stunninghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05207614401224889863noreply@blogger.com0
